In the heart of Bada Bhilwara village, Udaipur, lives a young woman whose determination shines brighter than her struggles. Aruna Kumari Bhagora, a resident of Phalasia Panchayat Samiti, is chasing her dream of becoming a teacher. Her journey is a testament to resilience, courage, and the power of education.

From Brick Kilns to Books
Despite hardships, Aruna stayed true to her passion for learning. After passing her 12th class from a government school, she pursued a BSTC course in Sawai Madhopur to become a teacher. Aruna lost her father in 2020, placing the family under severe financial strain. She worked alongside her mother at a brick kiln to support their household. Currently, Aruna lives in a shared room with a monthly rent of Rs 2,000, continuing her education with determination.

A Mother's Courage and a Family's Struggle
Aruna's mother is the pillar of their home. She took a loan of Rs 30,000 from a self-help group to fund Aruna and her brothers' education. Their half a bigha of farmland provides only basic sustenance with wheat and maize. After Aruna's father's passing, her mother fought to protect their land from family disputes, demonstrating immense courage.

A Scholarship and a Shining Future
Aruna's dedication has been recognized with the Sayar Kunwar Lodha Scholarship 2025, awarding her Rs 15,000 to ease her financial burdens and support her dreams.
